Rachakonda SHE team cracks whip on eve-teasers
Rachakonda SHE teams booked 28 cases (15 FIRs, 9 petty cases and 04 Counseling cases) against eve-teasers and apprehended 28 respondent eve-teasers (24 Majors and 6 Minors) in the last two weeks. All the above respondent eve-teasers attended the counselling session along with their family members conducted by Rachakonda SHE teams, at the Commissioner Camp office, at Nagole, LB Nagar.
Rachakonda SHE teams had conducted decoy operations at Malkajgiri, LB Nagar, Kushaiguda, and Ibrahimpatnam on bus stops, metro stations, and railway stations and caught hold of 30 eve-teasers from the scene
Hyderabad: Rachakonda SHE teams booked 28 cases (15 FIRs, 9 petty cases and 04 Counseling cases) against eve-teasers and apprehended 28 respondent eve-teasers (24 Majors and 6 Minors) in the last two weeks. All the above respondent eve-teasers attended the counselling session along with their family members conducted by Rachakonda SHE teams, at the Commissioner Camp office, at Nagole, LB Nagar.
The counselling took place under professional counsellors from the Bhumika Women’s Collective (NGO). Children in conflict with law were also counselled by professional psychologist Dr Vasavisamyukthasunki, Chief Consultant Psychologist so that they could change their behaviour.
During the last two weeks, Rachakonda SHE teams had conducted decoy operations at Malkajgiri, LB Nagar, Kushaiguda, and Ibrahimpatnam on bus stops, metro stations, and railway stations and caught hold of 30 eve-teasers from the scene.
However, a noteworthy achievement of the SHE team of Rachakonda unit is that they were able to stop a child marriage at Bhongir, a 16-year-old minor girl with a 24-year-old-man, whose marriage was scheduled to take place on February 21.
Rachakonda police team unit have expressed it that they are in no way going to compromise when it comes to the security of women and the other locals in the commissionerate. This is one of the reasons why, they come hard on all the accused who were caught from various crime scenes.
