Silk and Cotton Expo Exhibition cum Sale was inaugurated by the GHMC Ameerpet Division Corporater NSheshu Kumari, here on Friday SR Nagar Community Hall. On this occasion, she said that the collections of sarees, dress materials are really beautiful.

It's a good Expo for encouraging weavers and designers to exhibit their products, she added.
The exhibition organiser Md. Akbar Ali said " We are featuring original handmade products of silk and cotton textiles. More Than 80 designers and master weavers created an exquisite handloom that is fashioned into high end apparels and home furnishings for city fashion lovers."
The exhibition showcases different types of sarees like Uppada, Chandra Silk, Kalamkari, Venkatagiri, Pochampally Silk, Rajasthan Cotton, Hand block print, Bhagalpur Silk, Bengal Cotton, Kashmir Silk, Lucknow Chikan, Banaras, Kanta Work, Designer Suite, Designer Blouses, Designer Tops, Jaipur's Bedsheets, Jaipur Black Bangles, Stone Jewellery, One Gram Gold JeweIlery, Kondapalli Toys etc. The Exhibition cum Sale will go till 14thMarch.
