Two apps , website launched
On the eve of World Water Day, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) introduces Water Connect App at Water Board Head Office, which facilitates consumers to get new water connection online. Municipal Administration and Urban Development Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar, launched the apps and website on Thursday.
Hyderabad: On the eve of World Water Day, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) introduces Water Connect App at Water Board Head Office, which facilitates consumers to get new water connection online. Municipal Administration and Urban Development Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar, launched the apps and website on Thursday.
Consumers will not have to run from pillar to post to get new connection online in smart phones. And, the duration for issue of new connection has also been reduced to 18 days from 90 days. In case officials fail to issue new connection within the stipulated time, Rs 100 a day penalty will be levied on the concerned official. If it is repeated thrice, then disciplinary action will be initiated.
