Tandur: Dalit groups in the town on Monday peacefully protested against the SC verdict and described it as a blow to the SC and ST Atrocities (prevention) Act.
They lit candles pray that the souls of the four persons, who were killed in disturbances elsewhere in the country protesting on the issue, may rest in peace. Leaders of Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti, Kula Vivaksha Porata Samiti, Mala Mahanadu and other dalit groups took part in the protest programme.
