Candle homage to minor rape victim
Members of the Telangana Jana Samiti youth/student wing on Wednesday organised candle homage, along with children, villagers and TJS leaders, at Kompalli to ten-year-old girl who was recently raped-killed in Nirmal.
Petbashirabad: Members of the Telangana Jana Samiti youth/student wing on Wednesday organised candle homage, along with children, villagers and TJS leaders, at Kompalli to ten-year-old girl who was recently raped-killed in Nirmal.
Wing Chairman Rajesh Naik, who led the participants in the homage, demanded strong action against the rapists. He wanted the government to take stringent action so as to ensure that none misbehaves with children. Naik expressed anguish over the rising trends of misbehaviour against minors even after strong action by courts and the police.
He demanded hanging of the offenders without allowing any wastage of time in deciding the punishment. Among the participants were Dindigal Gandimaisamma mandal president Vijay, Prasad, Chanti, Vamsi, Vishwanath.
