Today, Donald Trump, President of the US has announced that the summit may actually take place on the same date as before, June 12, or even be extended beyond that date after the North Korean government has stated it was open to talks, after a surprise meeting between Kim Jong-Un, leader of North Korea and Moon Jae-In, the president of South Korea today, discussing the North Korea-US summit.
The two leaders candidly exchanged views about making the summit a successful one and about implementing the Panmunjom Declaration.President Moon Jae-In who has returned from the USA after his meeting with President Trump would be revealing further details about the meeting on Sunday.
