Khammam Collector calls for speeding up land acquisition for laying roads
District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar directed the officials to speed up the process of land acquisition for completion of road laying works which are sanctioned to the district under national highways.

The Collector chaired a review meeting with officials of Engineering department in his chamber in the Collectorate here in Khammam on Tuesday.
Speaking in the meeting, the Collector suggested the officials for designing of a route map by fixing the boundaries after examining the roads to speed up the road laying works within the prescribed time limit. He also ordered the officials to speed up the Sriram Sagar works and complete them as early as possible.
“Submit the report by January 21 about the Dhamsalapuram Rail Over Bridge land acquisition works by conducting the survey apart from sending the Utilisation Certificates of land acquisition immediately,” ordered the Collector.
Project Director of Highways Shailaja, Rural Development Officer Purnachander Rao, Tahsildars Venkat Reddy, Saidulu and Narasimha Rao and Deputy Tahsildar Menon attended the meeting.
