Khammam unveils 2,200 sqft national flag

The MP accompanied by local MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar witnessed the massive national flag of 2,200 square feet, designed by Vibram of Kalaam Organisation of Khammam district, here at Pavilion Grounds on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the MP said Khammam has a record of preparing the biggest national flag that was hoisted by the State government in Hyderabad last year. The record is broken again by Khammam by designing this massive national flag of 2,220 square feet, he said.
He appreciated the representatives of Vibram of Kalaam Organisation for preparing such a huge flag with their own money and for bringing the good name to the district. MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar suggested the people of Khammam to use their creative skills and think big for achieving bigger goals apart from bringing laurels to the district and the country.
Mayor Papa Lal, Market Committee Chairman RJC Krishna, DSP Intelligence Balakishan, Municipal Commissioner B Srinivas, Superintendent of Government Hospital Madan Singh, District Employment Officer Vijetha, Pulipati Prasad, representatives of Vibram of Kalaam Organisation Arun, Srinu, Rajashekar, Nageshwar Rao and the corporators K Murali, Brahma Reddy, KV Chary, V Srinivas and B Lakshman were present along with others.
