Khammam: Wishing the successful launch of PSLV-C37, Vibrants of Kalam Organisation organised ‘Make in India-A 2K March Past’ here in Khammam on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, founder of the Organisation Vijay Kalam said by launching 104 satellites in a single mission on its Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV)-C37 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is going to create a history in the world which would be highly useful for future generations of India.

“To make students and public realise the importance of the wonderful event which would script an history, and to build confidence among the Indian youth, 2K march past is organised with students of various peoples organisations along with models of PSLV-C37 rocket, 104 satellites and 104 meters length Indian National flag prepared by engineering students,” he said.

“With the launch of PSLV-C37, India is going to become a super power nation among the world countries in terms of information, technology and security fields along with leaving a memorable mark of Make in India with pride,” he added.

The 2K march past was is inaugurated by the Padma Shri Awardee Daripalli Ramaiah along with Prof B V Subba Rao, which was held from Pavilion Grounds to SR&BGNR Degree College.

The students from various educational institutions along with the representatives of people organisations participated in large numbers to give moral support to the Indian scientists’ wishing them all success.

City Mayor Dr Papa Lal, Regional Joint Director B Darjan, Principal of SR&BGNR Degree College Dr U Veera Bhadraiah, DSP Bala Kishan Rao, corporators P Naga Raju, Aruna, Nageshwar Rao, Raghu, Saida Rao, Pulipati Prasad, Vinay, Raj Kumar, Gopi, Sandhya and Mamatha were present along with Sathya Murthy who prepared the model of PSLV-C37 rocket.

Meanwhile in Bhadrachalam, traffic sub-inspector M Abbaiah flagged off a rally organised by the students of Triveni School here on Tuesday, wishing for the success of rocket launch.

The students carried a model of PSLV-C37. Going through the main streets of the town, they enthusiastically raised slogans such as ‘Jai ho Bharath’, ‘Bharath Matha Ki Jai’ and ‘ISRO Scientists Trial Should Succeed’.

School principal K Manjula, vice-principal Vimala, Academic Officer I Babu Rao, teaching and non-teaching staff took part in the rally.
