Khammam: Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao informed that the government has sanctioned Rs 4.75 crore for providing basic facilities in all the Government Junior Colleges of Khammam district.

Speaking at a meeting in Khammam on Friday, the Minister said, “When Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari brought the issue to the notice of the Chief Minister that there was a need for the development of Junior Colleges in State apart from providing some basic facilities, the State government has released orders sanctioning Rs 20.75 crore.”

He informed that for the construction of additional classrooms in the Naluguvancha Junior College, the government has sanctioned Rs 1 crore.

While ASR Government Junior College was allotted Rs 2.25 crore, Nelakondapalli Junior College was given Rs 1 crore. The Kalluru Junior College was sanctioned Rs 50 lakh for the construction of compound wall.
