Khammam Collector asks officials and headmasters of govt schools to put in place all facilities before the vacation comes to an end

Khammam: District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar directed the headmasters of schools to successfully organise Badi Bata programme in the district, which would start from June 13.

Addressing headmasters of all government schools during a review meeting at Montford High School in Khammam on Tuesday, the Collector appealed them to provide quality education to their students.

“It is the responsibility of the headmasters to shape the future of their students by providing quality education apart from incorporating creative and learning skills in them,” Lokesh said.

The district has achieved 88 per cent success in SSC exams and headmasters must take steps for achieving 100 per cent results this academic year, suggested the Collector.

“Take necessary steps for construction of toilets under Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme apart from shifting the Anganwadi centres to government schools which are running in rented buildings,” ordered the Collector, asking the officials to distribute textbooks to the students in time without any delay.

Later, Lokesh Kumar felicitated about 20 headmasters of the government schools which achieved 100 per cent results in SSC examinations.
