Cops, families told to take part in Haritha Haram
Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal has urged the police personnel and their family members to participate actively in the Haritha Haram and make it a grand success.
Khammam: Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal has urged the police personnel and their family members to participate actively in the Haritha Haram and make it a grand success.
The CP, after planting the saplings on the premises of Commissioner’s Office on Wednesday, said police personnel and their families must take part in the plantation drive and help in increasing the green cover.
He said, “The job does not get over by planting the saplings. Care must be taken to guard them and water them regularly till they grow into trees.”
The Commissioner also planted the saplings on the premises of Khammam Rural Assistant Commissioner Office and Sri Sai Ganesh Township along with the students of Karuna Vidhya Bhavan and locals.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Suresh Kumar, Sanjeev, Venkateshwarlu, Circle Inspector Thirupathi Reddy, AO Sathy Kumar, Section Superintendent Sathyavathi, Aktharunnisa Begum and Janaki Ram were present along with others.
