BJP slams govt for not promoting PMFBY
BJLP leader and MLA Kishan Reddy stated that government was showing step-motherly attitude towards farmers in the state.
Nalgonda: BJLP leader and MLA Kishan Reddy stated that government was showing step-motherly attitude towards farmers in the state.
On Thursday , he participated as chief guest to a protest programme on farmers issues organised by BJP district unit before Nalgonda Collectorate. Addressing the gathering, Kishan slammed the state government over its anti-farmer policies.
He listed out farmers problems and suicides and government apathy towards farming community in the last three years.
He ridiculed of profits in agriculture comment of Chief Minister KCR on exemplifying his farm land and demanded the government to provide the same water and infrastructure facilities to all the farmers in the state to get same profits.
He criticised the state government for not promoting the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana in every village , which provides financial aid to damaged crops during the disasters.
Party Agriculture wing state president Goli Madhusudhan Reddy, district president Nukala Narsimha Reddy, Ramoju Shanmukha, Paduri Karuna, Veerelly Chandrashekar, Shyam Sunder and farmers in large number participated in the protest.
