Kothagudem: District Superintendent of Police Amber Kishore Jha on Tuesday directed the department personnel to complete the probing of pending cases on warfoot. Speaking at the crime review meeting held with officials from Police, Excise and Forest departments in his office, the SP said the pending and trial cases must be completed soon.
He lauded the efforts of police officers and staff who had worked hard during the Ganesh Navaratri festival. District Forest Officer Rambabu said the government’s flagship programme Haritha Haram was completed in the district with the help of police department and thanked the officials for their help.
Excise Superintendent Narasimha Reddy said with the coordination of the Police department, the district would soon stop Gudumba manufacturing in villages. Bhadrachalam Assistant Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt, Deputy Superintendents’ B Ashok Kumar, Prakash Rao, Srinivasulu and other district police officers participated the meeting.
