Kothagudem: Joint Collector M Ramkishan advised youth to take Swami Vivekananda as inspiration, as he had spread the country’s greatness at international level. Speaking after flagging off a youth rally from the Collectorate, organised in connection with Vivekananda’s 155th birthday celebrations, he observed that great qualities were hidden in every person, while calling upon youth not to be swayed by momentary temptations. He recalled that Swamy Vivekananda moved like a vagabond at young age, but later developed a grip over life by taking to regular ‘sadhana’.
Ramkishan described weakness as death and suggested to youth to become strong and healthy for achieving goals with determination and relentless efforts. To succeed in one’s life youth should adopt yoga and put up a fight for achieving high aspirations in life. Only daily struggles would enable a person to rise to the top, with a keen desire to achieve anything, he added. He called upon people to help spread the country’s greatness by emulating the example of Vivekananda. The JC paid glowing tribute to Vivekananda at the end of the rally at Sarada Kuteer.
