Centre’s budget corporate-friendly not farmer-friendly
Slamming the Centre for the budget, district general secretary of Telangana State Rythu Sangham (TSRS) Madineni Ramesh alleged that the Centre’s budget was meant to favour corporate companies but not the common man.

Speaking at a round table conference held on topic Central Budget-Farming Sector, with the representatives of TSRS in Khammam on Wednesday, Ramesh alleged that for 42,000 crore acres of land under farming, the Centre had allotted only Rs 52,000 crore in the budget.
“How such meagre amount of money would be sufficient for development of farming sector?” he questioned. Already farmers are at loss due to fake seed menace and unpredicted climatic conditions, the meagre allotment of funds in the budget might drive the farming sector further crisis, he observed. “If the government is concerned about farming sector, it must conduct a special budget session in coming up Parliament sessions and must allot more money to the farming sector to bail the farmers out of their problems,” he demanded.
All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) State leader Rayala Chandrashekar alleged that the Centre had done massive injustice to farming sector by not making sufficient budget allocations. Rythu Sangham state leaders Ponnam Venkateshwarlu, Adapa Rama Kotaiay, Battula Lenin, M Sanjeev Reddy, T Bhaskar Rao, K Narasaiah, S K Meera, T Pedda Venkat Reddy, K Sangaiah, S Kotaiah and A Venkateshwarlu were present along with others.
