Another KTR road: Locals take up road repair yet again
Frustrated with the authorities’ lack of action, a group of residents resorted to filling up the pothole-ridden Allahabad Gate (AOC Gate)- Marredpally stretch on Monday.
Frustrated with the authorities’ lack of action, a group of residents resorted to filling up the pothole-ridden Allahabad Gate (AOC Gate)- Marredpally stretch on Monday.
The residents stated that their repeated pleas have been neglected which is why they have decided to carry out the task of repairing the stretch themselves. The 350-metre stretch which had 10-13 deep potholes and craters has been renamed as KTR-Nirmala Sitharaman Road. The stretch connects Safilguda, Malkajgiri, Neredmet, Sainikpuri and adjoining areas.
In the recent times, this is the second stretch in Secunderabad Cantonment to be renamed.
The stretch beside St John’s Junior College near Sangeeth Junction garnered a lot of attention after it was named KTR-Ivanka Trump Road.
