Parakala Prabhakar Resigns As AP Communications Advisor
Parakala Prabhakar, life partner of BJP leader and Union Minister for Defence Nirmala Sitharaman, resigned from his position as Advisor (Communication), Government of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday. He released his resignation letter to the media.

He did not handover his resignation letter directly to the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, but sent to through a messenger and requested to accept it. On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu is not willing to accept it.
In fact, the resignation decision was taken on Monday which was opposed by Chandrababu Naidu.
In his letter, Prabhakar explained that the Leader of Opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made misleading criticism on his personal life.
Jagan Mohan Reddy and others were trying to mislead public on the Dharma Porata Deeksha, being organized by Chandrababu Naidu against the BJP and central government.
Lambasting on Jagan Mohan Reddy, Prabkahar explained that he was talking immaturely. Prabhakar explained that if he continues in the government, then the opposition leaders would try to further defame Chandrababu Naidu by attributing vested interests.
Chandrababu Naidu was genuine in fighting against BJP, but because of his presence in the government at higher position, the opposition leaders were misleading public.
Slamming on Jagan Mohan Reddy for attributing political conspiracy by Chandrababu Naidu with BJP through Prabhakar’s personal life, he said that it exposed the heinous thinking and low graded politics of Leader of Opposition.
Further, he stated that he got hurt due to the baseless criticism of Jagan Mohan Reddy. “The matured persons could respect the opinions of individuals and respect others freedom. But, Jagan Mohan Reddy unable to understand this”, he added.
To ensure that there must not be any blame on Chief Minister and government because of his presence in the government, he took the decision to give resignation.
Meanwhile, reacting on Parakala Prabhakar’s resignation, Minister for Agriculture Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy said that they would not accept it. He said that there was no value for the baseless criticism of Jagan Mohan Reddy. There was no need to take such extreme step by Prabhakar, as he was genuine in discharging his duties.
As there were many couple doing jobs in two private companies in the same profession, Prabhakar and his wife also discharging their responsibilities in two governments and there was nothing wrong in it, Chandramohan Reddy explained.
It is worth to mention here that, despite of trying to take the opinion of Prabhakar over phone by this correspondent, he was not available for his comment.
