Hyderabad: Rain likely to occur in Telangana next week

Formation of a low-pressure system on the surface of Bay of Bengal on September 18, heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur in the next week according to Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

Currently, the state is reeling under intense heatwave and on Saturday, the temperature touched 33.7-degree Celsius in Hyderabad. 

Around 13 districts in the state have received deficient rainfall while Adilabad and Peddapalli received excess rainfall. And the remaining 16 districts have received normal rainfall.
