Man attacked woman with sickle in Chandanagar

A man attacked a woman with a sickle in Chandanagar police station limits on Tuesday night. Extra marital relation is the reason behind the attack. According to police, Vithal who is a native of Sangareddy district is living with his wife and children in Lingampally Taranagar. He has extra marital relation with a woman by name Swaroopa Rani, who took divorce from her husband and working in Vijetha Super market as a store keeper and staying in a ladies hostel.

Vithal spent money to bought gold ornaments to Saroopa Rani due to which he went to financial trouble and when the matter leaked to his family members they fought with each other. Angered Vithal planned to attack Swaroopa Rani from whom he entered into troubles. He found out the address of Swaroopa Rani and in drunken state went to her hostel and attacked her with sickle.

Swaroopa Rani escaped in the attack since the local public caught the attacker and handed over him to the police. By taking the attacker into custody police are investigating the case.
