The GHMC has taken up various programmes involving NGOs/RWAs/SHGs and other organizations to create awareness about the importance of vote and requesting every voter to cast their vote on the poll day which is on 7th December.
Only 53% of the polling percentage has been taken place in the last elections the main aim of the various initiatives is to increase the polling percentage and to celebrate the elections in a festival manner as per the directions of the ECI and to create good atmosphere to elect the right representative to get the good Government.
10K Run, lighting of lamps, painting competition to the students, involving school children providing them pamphlets to join their parents, family members to participate in the elections to cast their vote.
The DEO has released the posters with regard to participate in the elections by the Hyderabad Zindabad Organisation who have initiated many activities for the effective role of the voters to play to cast their vote for the ensuing elections.
