Rishitha Koruturu is Miss Hyderabad

Amidst excitement that was palpable and contagious all around, Rishitha Koruturu was crowned ‘Miss Hyderabad’ at the ‘Trends Miss Hyderabad 2017’ at Novotel on Sunday night.

The grand finale the pageant, powered by Kalamandir, was held in the presence of the who's who of city celebrity circuits. A packed hall rose in unison to applaud as Koruturu, followed by the first runner-up Arunima Suresh and second, Yamilli Prasad.

The pageant began with the bevy of beauties elegantly walking down the ramp in traditional Indian wear, which was designed by Roopamani. The second sequence had the finalists strutting through the catwalk in stunning western collection from Trends. Ten of the twenty-two finalists were shortlisted for the next round in this sequence.

The girls were presented with the subtitles adjudged on the basis of presentation skills, communications skills, punctuality etc. Five of the girls who made to the final round exuded complete confidence in facing the battery of questions from the high-powered jury, that followed. The last sequence showcased collection from Shravan Studio by Shravan Kummar Ramaswamy.

The jury comprised of Dr Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary for Information Technology (IT), Madhur Bhandarkar, Bollywood Director; Shravan Kummar Ramaswamy, fashion designer; Anukriti Gusain, FBB Femina Miss Grand India 2017; Priyanka Kumari, FBB Femina Miss India 2nd Runner Up; Bruna Abdullah, bollywood actress; Dr Mamata Deenadayal, Medical Director – Infertility Institute and Research Centre and Shahwar Ali – bollywood actor and supermodel.
