Tea has been a part of culture for thousands of years. When you wake up to a cup of tea, you know that it boosts your mood. But, do you know the other amazing things it can do for your overall health? Did you guys know that tea can help improve our health and perk us up at the same time.

Yoga tea

The yoga tea has anti inflammatory and antibiotic properties that may help reduce nausea, pain, and inflammation in the body. The herbs used detoxify, restore your internal balance and also help cure indigestion. The ginger and turmeric will keep your body warm and alleviate cold and flu symptoms while also acting as a laxative to alleviate tummy troubles.

To brew this tea at home you’ll need

Ingredients:

15 gm dried lemongrass
15 gm dried ginger( pieces)
10 gm dried turmeric( pieces)
10 gm spice mix ( peppercorn, cinnamon, cardamom)

To brew this tea:

Mix all the ingredients in a vessel and store it in a dry container.

Boil 200 ml water or upto 100 degree Celsius.

Add one teaspoon ( two grams) of the mix in a brew maker or cup if you don’t have a brew maker.

Add hot water to the brew maker or cup and let it steep for five minutes.

Filter and drink. Add lemon or honey for added flavour.

Yoga tea is a herbal mix and has no tea leaf in it. Hence it is 100% caffeine free and can be re steeped up to 5 times. So keep on adding hot water to this magical Ayurvedic concoction and give your body the necessary boost of immunity.

HARI CHAI
A healthy twist to your chai cravings. For any reason if you do get infected with cold and flu, this tea will help you relieve the symptoms and soothe your body.

The green tea base is low in caffeine and provides the extra boost of antioxidants for better immunity while the chai spices provide the much needed warmth to the body.

Ingredients :

35 GMs nilgiris green tea

15 GMs spice mix one spoon each - peppercorn, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and dried mint leaves

To brew this tea:

Mix all this ingredients in a vessel and store it in a dry container.

Boil 200 ml water or upto 80 degree Celsius

Add one teaspoon tea in brew maker or cup.

Add hot water to the brew maker or cup and let it steep for two minutes.

Filter and drink. Add honey for added sweetness if required.
