Panneerselvam – Future of Tamil Nadu in the making

In Bhagavat Gita, the Lord Krishna says that he would take birth again and again for protecting dharma and to destroy adharma. This is how the epic of Dashavathar (10 incarnations) of Lord Krisha (Vishnu) goes.

During election season or whenever a tall leader of any party dies or a party suffers humiliating election defeat, it is quite common that several political leaders migrate and roost in several other parties. India has witnessed such political chameleon-ism enough and more.

But none of the citizens of this country has ever described the decision of OPS to move away from a ‘family gang’ to save AIADMK and Tamil Nadu as an act of opportunism aimed at some political gain/ mileage. Most of the people think and believe that the decision of OPS to revolt was a patriotic act and it has more ‘truism’ than politics. Any true follower of Amma and ardent supporter of AIADMK would excise only such revolt and would never show any attraction towards position or money.

People of TN further feels that OPS would have tried his best to put some sense to people in AIADMK against surrendering the party to a family which is largely disliked by late Amma, people of TN and AIADMK cadres.

He had indeed acted like the ‘good will messenger’ role of Lord Krisha to Duryadhana. Krishana went as good will messenger to Hasthinapur King – Dridharastra and wants to avoid an imminent war and causalities. In fact Krishna appealed to Duryadhana to come for some settlement so that a war can be avoided and goodness can be prevailed. But the greedy Duryodhana was unwilling for any compromise and he wants nothing short of power, power and power… and the throne.

It appears when the peace mission did not get any buy-in probably due to the endless lust and infatuation of a family for power, money and authority, perhaps he would have decided to go to people as always Amma used to say makkal thirpu is maheshan thirupu (the verdict of people is indeed the verdict of Lord).

It is not just a new leader is happening out to OPS it is real re-incarnation of a true leader that TN is yawning for nearly 5 decades.

OPS has wisely chose the good will of people over bow down to someone whom people not only do not endorse but also dislike and hate. The lawmakers in AIADMK must swiftly realize that they exist today as a political leader because of people and hence they must heed to the voice and feelings of people. Sooner they abandon the baggage and make a facelift to their image, it is better both for the self and AIADMK.

It is not choosing OPS is must but they must quickly abandon the baggage because people especially the present generation dislike and disapprove the baggage.

The real winners in any game are not the one who just demolishes the forces that are disliked by people at large but also how quickly one recognizes such forces and distance from it. In that respect, OPS has earned the heartfelt congratulations of people.

We must remember the role of Lord Krishna in Mahabharat war. However brilliant and valiant archer the Arjuna was, but Krishna only could lead Arjuna to victory over adharma.

People believe that OPS is left with nothing but dharma and hence OPS can win all those who join him. Always real are quite rare to see while unreal and imitations are quite abundant. Gold is scarce but the imitation gold is quite common. Today people may think that larger chunk of lawmakers of AIADMK are not with OPS but the real truth is that people are with OPS.

Krishha surrendered all his weapons to Duryodhana when he entered the battle field to lead Arjuna. Arjuna unconditionally submitted himself to Krisha and learned the essence of Bhagawat Gita and won the battle.

Today OPS speak nothing but Gita of what the people of TN aspires and wish out of AIADMK and its law makers. All those who are willing to listens the Gita upadesh of OPS become Arjuna and the rest may go down in political history like Duryodhana and Dushashana.

People and OPS both are gracious enough to forget and forgive all those who comeback to OPS soon to rebuild AIADMK and a glorious Tamil Nadu.
