Voter awareness rally held at Nizamabad

Nizamabad: Joint Collector A Ravinder Reddy and South Zone Assistant Commissioner of Police Anand Kumar flagged off a rally at the Collectorate here on Wednesday in connection with the 7th National Voters-Day.
Students participated in large numbers in the rally. The rally ended at Gandhi Chowk where a human chain was formed. Later, an awareness programme was conducted to students at Rajeev Gandhi Auditorium in the town.
Ravinder Reddy spoke on the importance of voting right. He asked everyone who crossed 18-years of age to enrol themselves as voters and cast their vote without fail in the elections.
Municipal Commissioner Venkateswar and others were present on the occasion.
