Nizamabad Police chief bans cricket betting, gambling
Nizamabad Commissioner of Police K Karthikeya said that betting on cricket, gambling, selling of gutka and playing matka along with other types of anti-social activities have been banned within the Commissionarate limits of Nizamabad city.
Nizamabad: Nizamabad Commissioner of Police K Karthikeya said that betting on cricket, gambling, selling of gutka and playing matka along with other types of anti-social activities have been banned within the Commissionarate limits of Nizamabad city.
In a press release here on Wednesday, Commissioner Karthikeya said that many people have ruined their lives by indulging in such types of activities and their families were facing lot of hardships.
The Commissioner of Police has also instructed police officials to conduct surprise raids and take stringent action against those indulging in such unlawful activities.
Her also urged people to dial the mobile number 94913-98540 or the crime branch cell phone number 94906-18000 and provide information if they find anybody indulging in gambling, betting, playing matka and selling gutka.
