1,738 cases registered against two-wheeler riders in Nizamabad

As part of a special drive, a total of 1,738 cases were registered against two-wheeler riders under the limits of all the police stations in Nizamabad, Armoor and Bodhan on Wednesday.
Nizamabad: As part of a special drive, a total of 1,738 cases were registered against two-wheeler riders under the limits of all the police stations in Nizamabad, Armoor and Bodhan on Wednesday.
According to the Commissioner of Police, Karthikeya, the total fine imposed on them was Rs 2,38,800. “Riders without helmets and relevant documents were held. Vehicles without number plates were seized,” he added.
Respective Assistant Commissioners of police, Circle Inspectors, State House Officers and Sub-Inspectors took part in the raid.
