Nalgonda: State Political JAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram urged the government to design different programmes to fill the gap between village and urban people in the State. He participated as a chief guest at a programme on topic ‘Telangana State - Democratic Perspective’, organised by Nalgonda Civic Lecturers forum.

Addressing the gathering, he said the State treasury gets revenue of only 13 per cent from village where 60 per cent of population lives whereas it is 87 per cent from urban where 40 per cent people live. This difference should be rectified in the State, he suggested.

Kodandaram advised Civics Lecturers to play key role in the formation of Golden Telangana and requested intellectuals of the society to pave the best path for future generations by imparting their knowledge. RIO Prakash Babu, retired lecturers Venu Sankoju, Gona Reddy and others participated in the programme.
