Rukmini Bai tourney gets underway at SPS

P Madhusudhan Rao, Secretary and Correspondent, Secunderabad Public School inaugurated the 6th Rukmini Bai table tennis, chess and carrom tournament conducted by Rukmini Bai Sports Academy at their West Marredpally campus on Thursday.

More than 400 participants from 60 schools will be vying for honours. Prakash Raju, Secretary, Telangana State Table Tennis Association (TSTTA) and A Narsimha Rao, Joint Secretary TSTTA graced the occasion, along with Shilpa Ravi, Director and MM Augustine, Academic Director.
Principal J Sujata welcomed the guests after which the school’s International paddlers and siblings Lasya and Sasya played an exhibition match. TT tournament is conducted at YWCA while chess and caroms is at the school campus.
