The India No 2 in junior boys’ singles successfully paired with Anukram Jain of PSPB to clinch an unprecedented silver medal.
After making it to the title clash with some impressive outings, the two lost the all-Indian final only after putting up a spirited display. They went with their guns blazing 2-3 to Manush Shaw and Parth Virmani.

Earlier, they did well to scalp formidable duos from Chinese Taipei and Egypt, according to information received here.
Snehit, a product of the city-based Global Table Tennis Academy (GTTA), is now being trained by former national champion S Raman in Chennai.
