Today various cosmetic companies have launched various creams for treating pimples, acne, etc, but using ayurvedic homely remedies is the best option as they are healthy, cost effective and have no side-effects. Chemical-based creams are skin irritants and have negative effects on the natural health of the skin. They can also cause skin allergies and build-up toxins in the system.
Here are a few home remedies to cure pimples. Take three tablespoons of sugar, one tablespoon of milk powder and one tablespoon of honey, mix them together and scrub this mixture over the face for a few minutes and rinse it off after 15 minutes.
Make a mixture of rose water and glycerine. Add four parts of rosewater and one part of the glycerine in a bottle and regularly use it after morning bath for a soft and pimple free skin. The rose water acts as a natural cleanser while glycerine is a natural moisturiser.
It is important to control oil secretion to stop the eruption of pimples in oily areas. Wash your face with rose water twice a day. Take some rose water and astringent in equal parts and wash your face with mixture twice or thrice daily for best results.
Curd and turmeric mixture not just removes all your acne, pimple or freckle but it also gives you a fair and smooth skin. Take 3-4 teaspoons of curd and one pinch of turmeric to make a paste and apply it on your face. Leave it to dry and after that wash your face with cold water. Do it two times in a week. Just remember one thing never expose your body to the sun after applying this. It may give you the reverse result. It gives best results in the night.
Neem: Take some neem bark and soak it for five minutes in the water after that outwear it on something and apply that paste on only affected area. Do it regularly for two weeks and you will see a spotless, acne-free skin without any side effects.
Lemon juice: Lemon juice is a best natural cleanser. Take a lemon and put its juice in a bowl. Take some cotton and with the help of it apply it on the face. Leave it until it gets dry. Wash it off. If you have dry skin, then use it only once a week.
Ingredients like sandalwood, tulsi, pudina, neem can be used to treat eruptive conditions of the skin, like acne. They can be good protective and preventive treatments for oily skins.
