Reinventing her fitness mantra: Rakul Preet

Making life healthy and fit is the main motto of every individual. Talking about fitness the successful lead lady of Telugu, Hindi and Tamil film industry Rakul Preet says, “I believe in being fit. I practice some form of physical activity every day. The way you treat your body today is the same way it will treat you for years that are down the line; so being fit is the whole agenda.” She was spotted at the Skechers store in Hyderabad when she gave this interview.

Talking about her Instagram post carrying weights that went viral, the actress shares, “Every day I love pushing myself and re-inventing because I am bored with the same exercises and my trainer wants to keep me going with the flow. I told him that I had a neck sprain and we should go slow on the neck. He agreed and then he asked me to do squats. I had to hang the 90 pounds weight on my waist and do the squats.”

Playing the role of Sri Devi in the upcoming movie the actress says, “It feels very good. I am really honoured that I am given this responsibility. This is the first time someone is playing the role of Sri Devi ji and I am very excited.” Placing herself well in the film industry Rakul Preet is working on quite a few movies which will hit the box office soon. The diva says, “There are a bunch of movies that are coming up.

There is ‘De De Pyaar De’ in Hindi with Ajay Devgn, which will release early next year. And there are three Tamil movies, one, which is with Surya that I will finish in another one week and there is a film with Karthi, ‘Dev’ which will release in December and yet another movie with Sivakarthikeyan in Tamil, a science fiction that will release next year. In Telugu we have Sri Devi’s biopic and NTR biopic where I play Sri Devi ji. We also have Chaitanya’s film which is starting next week. There is another film in Hindi that I signed which I will announce soon.”
