Punit Sood appointed by RBS as the head of technology for India global hub
MUMBAI: RBS has appointed Punit Sood as the Head of Technology for its Global Hub in India, as the bank focuses on boosting its technology expertise. Sood previously worked at JP Morgan Chase, where he was responsible for strategy and delivery within the JPMC Global Service Centre and helped further the technology initiatives from the India banking business.
MUMBAI: RBS has appointed Punit Sood as the Head of Technology for its Global Hub in India, as the bank focuses on boosting its technology expertise.
Sood previously worked at JP Morgan Chase, where he was responsible for strategy and delivery within the JPMC Global Service Centre and helped further the technology initiatives from the India banking business.
Sood has also worked at Citibank, Mphasis and GE Capital Services.
"From our mobile app, used by over four million customers to the technology that our people use every day when helping our customers, technology is key to our success. Punit joins us with a strong leadership background, a creative mind and a determination to make a difference," Patrick Eltridge, Chief Information Officer, RBS, said in a statement.
RBS' Global technology hub operates out of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.
