The massive victory of TRS in Greater Hyderabad municipal elections has increased the party's responsibility, party leader and Telangana cabinet minister K. Tarakarama Rao said.
The minister for panchayat raj and information technology claimed that the party has created a history with its huge victory. He thanked people for reposing faith in the party.
Tarakarama Rao, son of TRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, told reporters that TRS will fulfill all its poll promises.
The minister, who led TRS campaign in the elections, hoped that the opposition parties would come forward to extend their cooperation with the government for development of Hyderabad as a global city.
The TRS has won or is leading in 100 divisions in 150-member GHMC, virtually wiping out opposition Congress and TDP-BJP alliance.
