The Telangana ACB, which is probing the cash-for-vote case, is all set to take Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation TDP president and Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath into their custody, reports said.
The Telangana ACB, which is probing the cash-for-vote case, is all set to take Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation TDP president and Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath into their custody, reports said. It is learnt that ACB which is investigating to trace the source of the money in the ‘cash-for-votes' scam, reportedly found link to Gopinath. His name is said to have come to the fore during the investigation.
Reports suggest that the cash that TDP MLA allegedly tried to give Anglo-Indian MLA Stephenson had come from the Jubilee Hills MLA. However, it is not confirmed by the ACB yet. The ACB is expected to serve a notice to Gopinath first and may arrest him in a day or two.
