The members of Public Accounts Committee have visited Yadadri on Monday and darshan of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Bala Alayam. Later they convened a meeting with Yadadri temple development authority officials.

Nalgonda: Public Accounts Committee chairman and Congress leader Dr Geetha Reddy said the Telangana Tirupati, Yadadri main temple works would be completed within one year as per schedule and other ancillary works would be tentatively completed within two years.

The members of Public Accounts Committee have visited Yadadri on Monday and darshan of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Bala Alayam. Later they convened a meeting with Yadadri temple development authority officials.

The YTDA officials explained the developmental activities of Yadadri temple city through a PowerPoint presentation. Later Committee chairman Geetha Reddy said renovation and development works were being carried out in 14 acres of land as per Agama Shastra.

The government had sanctioned Rs 150 crores for various works in the first phase and of this, Rs 75 crore was spent on land acquisition. She appreciated the YTDA officials for their commitment towards temple development.
