Students pen views on nuclear energy
An essay writing competition on the topic ‘Nuclear energy- clean energy’ was held at Adarsh Convent High School as part of a nation-wide campaign to generate awareness regarding the importance of energy.
An essay writing competition on the topic ‘Nuclear energy- clean energy’ was held at Adarsh Convent High School as part of a nation-wide campaign to generate awareness regarding the importance of energy. Out of the 170 students who participated in the competition seventh grade students Poojitha and R Nagi won the competition.
On the occasion, Principal of the school Rahul Suchna said, “Participants had portrayed the importance of energy in a very creative manner and showed how the production of electricity from nuclear energy didn’t cause as much harm to the environment.
Many such programmes are being organised in various States with an objective to create awareness about clean energy and also to remove misinformation about nuclear energy among the people.
