NRI donates uniforms to govt school students.
An NRI from USA, Satya Battula, has donated uniforms to the students of Government High School situated at Kothur in Hanamkonda.
Warangal: An NRI from USA, Satya Battula, has donated uniforms to the students of Government High School situated at Kothur in Hanamkonda.
At a programme held at the School premises on Friday, Prof Surepalli Sujatha and Vijay Kumar, the faculty members at Shatavahana University have presented the uniforms worth around Rs 40, 000 to about 90 boys and girls studying in the school.
District Education Officer P Rajiv, who attended the programme, said quality education could only be available in government schools.
The State government was making efforts to strengthen schools and to empower the students. The programme was coordinated by the
School teacher S Srinivasa Swamy and was attend by the Head Master K Bhaskara Chary, the local corporator S Sunil, teachers K Srinivas Reddy, K Geetha, S Narendar, H Lingarao, M Babu, G Kumara Swamy, K Rajamallu, V Sarala and others.
