Cancelling of LTC to SGT teachers stayed
Justice M S Ramachandra Rao of the High Court at Hyderabad on Thursday stayed orders of the government seeking to cancel the Local Tribal Certificate given to various candidates selected as SGT Teachers.
Hyderabad: Justice M S Ramachandra Rao of the High Court at Hyderabad on Thursday stayed orders of the government seeking to cancel the Local Tribal Certificate given to various candidates selected as SGT Teachers.
He made the interim order while admitting writ petitions filed by Lakavath Sankal and others. The petitioners complained that earlier the Warangal District Collector had suspended their Local Area Certificates and now in spite of a detailed inquiry by the district-level scrutiny committee, yet again a similar order of disqualification was passed.
It was the contention of the petitioners that such an action would be contrary to procedure prescribed under law and it was in violation of the Fundamental Rights of the petitioners.
