While taking part in the all party Zilla Parishad meeting at Zilla Parishad meeting hall on Wednesday, Jitender Reddy, Member of Parliament from the district promised that he would work towards getting one new Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) to the newly carved out districts of Gadwal, Mahabubnagar, and Wanaparthy districts. 

Mahabubnagar: While taking part in the all party Zilla Parishad meeting at Zilla Parishad meeting hall on Wednesday, Jitender Reddy, Member of Parliament from the district promised that he would work towards getting one new Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) to the newly carved out districts of Gadwal, Mahabubnagar, and Wanaparthy districts.

The lone Kendriya Vidyalaya School at Vattem village near Bijinapally mandal has gone to Nagarkurnool district. “As a Central representative from Mahabubnagar, with all my efforts, I will try to get one Kendriya Vidyalaya to each district and ensure that all central schemes from about 14 Central government departments will be implemented in all the new districts,” said Jitender Reddy.

As this is the last Zilla Parishad meeting of all parties from the four districts carved out of Mahabubnagar, all members shared their apprehensions and clarified their doubts. Jupally Krishna Rao, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural development, Dr C Laxma Reddy, Minister for Medical, Health and Family welfare took part in the meeting as the chief guests.

Jupally Krishna Rao said from next year onwards each district will have its own Zilla Parishad meetings. The Health Minister said with the bifurcation of Mahabubnagar into four smaller districts, the government was taking all steps to ensure healthcare services and medical facilities were improved in all the districts.
