Cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in Telangana during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Friday. Adilabad, which was shivering at seven degrees Celsius on Thursday, recorded eight degrees C on Friday the lowest minimum night temperatures in the plains of the region.

According to a bulletin from the Meteorological Department on Friday, the minimum temperatures were appreciably below normal (3.1O to 5 deg C) at a few places in Telangana. They were markedly below normal (5 deg C or less) at a few places. The other temperatures recorded in the State were: Medak 10 deg C.
