Pay only 50% to clear total fine: traffic mega Lok Adalat
Here is good news for the owners of certain categories of vehicles. Hyderabad traffic police in association with the judiciary is conducting a traffic mega Lok Adalat for clearing the pending fines against their vehicles.

The vehicle owners can clear the pending fines by paying 50 percent of the total fine imposed. The mega lok adalat will be held in two places from 10 am to 5 pm for three days between February 9 and 11.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, A V Ranganath, said the mega lok adalat will be held at Shivkumar Lal Police Stadium in Goshamahal and in Imperial Gardens of Secunderabad.
“We shall be introducing token system. The token will indicate the tent number, date and serial number allotted for respective person. Also, one can avail lok adalat traffic forms on Hyderabad traffic police website or on the Hyderabad traffic police Facebook page,” the DCP said.
People should submit the duly filled lok adalat form accompanied by pending challan list and photocopy of the Aadhar card to pay the fines imposed by the Hyderabad and Secunderabad,” he said.
However, drunken driving cases shall be taken up in which the Blood Alcohol Concentration levels are less than 100.
In such cases, only fines will be imposed and there will be no imprisonment, he said.
The DCP further added that the mega lok adalat is not applicable for auto-rickshaws, buses and lorries.
