Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari said on Thursday that government was fully geared up to organise the centenary celebrations of Osmania University on a grand scale from April 26 to 28.

At a review meeting, he said President of India Pranab Mukherjee would inaugurate the centenary celebrations.

Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao would be the chief guest at the alumni meet on the second day of the three-day inaugural celebrations. Union Minister for Human Resources Prakash Javadekar would participate on the third day celebrations.

Srihari said that cultural programmes would be organised for three days and they would depict the culture of Telangana State.

Guests like heirs of Nizam, alumni of Osmania from various parts of the country and abroad would be invited.
