Hyderabad: Largest private sector lender ICICI Bank on Tuesday expressed interest in giving loan to the 'Mission Bhagiratha' scheme, the State government said here.
The scheme envisages supplying piped drinking water to households. A team of officials from ICICI Bank met State government Chief Secretary S P Singh here on Tuesday and communicated their interest in supporting the scheme, a State government release said.
The release quoted the bank officials as having said that they would convey their final decision in two weeks.
