The Miyapur land scam rocked not only the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) but also the Congress, as many Congress leaders are suspecting the involvement of their seniors in the murky deal.
Hyderabad: The Miyapur land scam rocked not only the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) but also the Congress, as many Congress leaders are suspecting the involvement of their seniors in the murky deal.
Rangareddy District Congress Committee (DCC) leaders suspected the involvement of some Congress leaders in the scam and alleged that the land scam is the reason why some of the important party leaders adopted a touch-me-not attitude on the issue.
DCC members said the senior leaders are keeping aloof from raising their voice on the mother of all scams and added that such leaders are a liability to the party.
They vowed to take the issue to the streets of Delhi and stage dharna at Jantar Mantar if the party seniors did not break their silence on the issue.
After meeting the Governor at Raj Bhavan, Rangareddy DCC leaders at a press conference expressed apprehensions over some of the leaders.
