Hyderabad: CPI State Council Secretary Chad Venkat Reddy on Saturday demanding that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao explain the reasons for extending his party’s support to the BJP-NDA candidate Ramnath Kovind.
Addressing the Rangareddy district CPI executive committee meeting here, Venkat Reddy said KCR by criticising the BJP in the State gave the impression that he was secular. But, he continued to extend his support to the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre. He charged the Chief Minister with adopting double standards. He exhorted the CPI activists to wage relentless fight against anti-people policies being adopted by the State and Central governments.
