Hyderabad: To encourage Civil Service aspirants to continue their studies two philanthropists have come forward with a monthly scholarship for diligent candidates.

According to Prof. Amir Ullah Khan, Director, Civil Services Examination Coaching Academy, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Philanthropists - Aliuddin Ahmed and Kaneez Fatima Ahmed will sponsor cash award of Rs 2500 per month from August 2017 to August 2018 to three aspirants. There are three scholarships on offer. The scholarship will continue depending on a high level of academic excellence and attendance during the year. The highest weightage will be given for those who have cleared the prelims in 2017, he said.

Aspirants may submit application containing an essay of 1000 words on one of these topics; ‘Challenges in public policy making’, ‘Inclusive growth in India’ or ‘Unique identity and the debate on making Aadhar compulsory’. An eminent panel will choose from the applications submitted.

The interested candidates may submit their application using online link at www.manuu.ac.in. The link would be enabled between 10th and 20th of August.
