TJAC chairman Kodandaram and his followers arrested

Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Kodandaram was arrested along with his followers at Toopran toll plaza on Saturday.

They were on their way to Nizamabad, to attend a Town Hall meeting. Earlier, the committee's request for permission to take out a rally as tributes to martyrs was rejected and the yatra was changed to Town Hall meeting.

However, the police still arrested them. On Friday, the police disrupted the TJAC Amaraveerula Yatra at Kamareddy to which Kodandaram had said that the TRS government is misusing power and is intolerant.
