Last week the Telangana government informed that 68 cases were reported in the first 20 days of August, triggering an alarm.
This month, 632 samples were tested out of which, 100 samples tested positive while 12 were found positive on Tuesday.
However, no deaths have been caused due to the virus and the authorities are seeking caution from the public along with taking preventive measures.
