Hyderabad: Two new born babies died in a gap of 10 hours due to the alleged negligence of doctors of Khammam Government Hospital.
According to sources, the hospital authorities refused to admit a pregnant woman citing absence of duty doctor on Saturday. The woman, who was waiting at a bench, delivered the baby there itself and he reportedly died after falling down on ground.
In another incident, another new born child died due to negligence of doctors at Khammam Government Hospital.
Taking a serious note of the incident, Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao directed the District Collector to take stern action against the doctors and nurses who were responsible for the incidents.
